The Norwegian Forest Cat, or "Wegie", developed naturally in the cold forests of Scandinavia. It has a thick, water-resistant double coat, a ruff around the neck, and tufted paws.
Wegies are gentle, sociable, and adaptable, and they love heights. A tall cat tree is a must.
